Job Description:
We are looking for skilled Masons to join our team in Dubai. As a Mason, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating structures using various materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, tiles, and natural and artificial stones. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction principles and practices, and be able to work efficiently and safely in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and construction drawings to plan and execute projects.
- Lay out patterns, forms, or foundations according to plans.
- Build walls, chimneys, fireplaces, patios, sidewalks, and other structures.
- Cut and shape bricks, concrete, tiles, and stones using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Mix mortar and grout, and spread them onto surfaces for tiling or grouting.
- Ensure work is completed according to specifications and building codes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason or similar role.
- Proficient in using masonry tools and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical training in masonry or a related field.
- Certification in masonry or a relevant trade.
